Find the responsible licensing source

Education, professional titles and permission to practice are separate questions. Start with the jurisdiction where you intend to work, then use its official regulator. A directory entry does not establish your individual eligibility.

Official regulator links

The first two are selected official links, not a complete national directory. The third is a broader overview to use as a starting point for finding other jurisdictions.

Question checklist

Ask the regulator:

  • Which credential or examination requirements apply?

  • What title may I use?

  • Which activities are within scope?

  • What business, insurance or continuing requirements apply?

  • What changes if services cross jurisdictional boundaries?

Record the official answer and date. The website does not answer these legal questions for the reader.
